Chicken Salad


You're going to love this heart Healthy Chicken Salad recipe. Packed with a crunch from sliced almonds, I took a classic salad and gave it a healthy makeover!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups diced, cooked chicken (about 3/4 lb chicken breasts)
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup diced celery (about 3 stalks)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Fisher Nuts Sliced Almonds
  • DIRECTIONS:

    In a large bowl, combine diced chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper and celery.
    Fold in the dried cranberries and sliced almonds. Refrigerate until ready to use (this allows the flavors to mingle and combine). Serve on a bed of salad greens or on a sandwich. ENJOY
